Default Screeching when hot
I am the Newbie , My first Bike , 2014 HERITAGE SOFTTAIL CLASSIC , My first forum . My new bike has 5000 k on her now , been riding a month and the other day after a nice ride I accelerated away from a stop sign and heard a Screech , sounded like it came from below the Tanks , shortly after in my drive way , in neutral I rolled the Throttle and sure enough still there , I put her away , next day , out for a ride , getting back , there it is again , under the same conditions , Hot , accelerating or not , but rolling the throttle . I am still under warranty but I need to learn so If you know something please share , thanks.

You need to try and figure a little closer as to where the sound is coming from.. My bet is the primary ..

This sound was when I Throttled , In gear and in Netural after 1 hour riding and it sure seemed like it came from my Right hand side , ( Throttle side )

Bring it in for your 5k service and have them look at it for warranty stuff. Make sure you schedule a waiting appointment and ride for an hour before hand like you said it started after.
