I have a 15 Slim. I have blacked out a portion of it and added white walls. I don't want everything blacked out so I try to add some chrome when I can to break up the black. I have heard a few times of the suggestion of the red brake calipers. I was thinking of chrome calipers to break up the black but how would red look?
I know it is my bike and it is my decision. I am just looking for some opinions on the red and possibly some pics. I will attach some pics of my bike. For some reason they are sideways and I can figure out how to fix that and make it bigger.
On a red rather sportive bike they would be nice....if you're sticking with black and chrome I wouldn't install red calipers. They might look like a foreign object on that bike. JMO!
If it was all black across the board, red might be an interesting addition. But since the steady them is black with chrome accents, either go with chrome or stick with black. I think the bike looks good as is though.
I'm not a real fan of the red ... but ... It ain't my scooter. Buy some caliper paint and spray 'em and see what you think. Cheap and easy ... just some gals I know:>)
X3 on that bike. The Guzzi pictured with the red looks decent but that bike is all black and a little red. OP's bike is black, chrome and white, red added in would look tacky IMO.
