Default Raising passenger floor boards

What are my options on bringing the passenger floor boards up a bit on the 07 Heritage? I found the Pingel #62152 but I'm not sure if that's my only choice. I'm not even going to rule out switching to some type/kind of peg.

I just looked at the Pingel ones such a simple idea, why has no one else done this, If you want to raise the Passenger floor boards there is not a lot of other options. Good Find.

Here are some adjustable peg mounts should if you decide to go with pegs.

Floorboards are much better than pegs though.

In my mind, other than the ridiculous cost, the only problem with the Pingel units is that in addition to moving the boards up, it will move them out. If that is OK with the O.P. then it seems like an easy solution.

If one were prepared to spend over $150 to raise the floorboards (as that is the cost of the Pingel units), I would suggest another option: A lower profile passenger pillion that moves the passenger closer to the fender.

The low profile pillions were available for the Heritage Springer in the day. Perhaps a similar option is available today. In my mind, it is a better option as lowering the passenger rather than raising the floorboards has the additional benefit of lowering the center of gravity of the bike.

My $0.02. And worth every penny!

Ride safe!

Yes and I would rather have floorboards than pegs.

Wife is 5-0 so I tried the 4 inch Kury male mount with out success. Problem is the factory mount just screws into the frame and when she put her weight (125 lbs.) on it, it would twist and loosen no matter how much torque and locktite I used. Just too much leverage on the Kury male mount floorboards. So I tried the pegs ----- same result.

I picked up the Pingel parts. They're on so we'll see how they work for mom. Something that she may not like is the fact that not only are they moved up a bit, they are moved out a bit too. Just trying to make her more comfy.....we'll see.

This is what I did for my back pegs. My wife is short and the angle of the rear section of the custom seat was putting pressure on her hamstrings. She said that it is night and day difference now.
