I have a 2015 heritage classic. It has a stock 103ci v/h straightshots h/s pipes and v/h naked air intake system and added fuelpak 3..I seem to be only getting average 30-33-miles to the gallon and approx.. 150 miles to a tank. It states in my owners book that the bike has a 5 gallon tank...Does it really? I have ridden it well after the gas light comes on and only seem to be able to get almost 4 gallons in it. I was getting a lot better mileage on my 1993 heritage with stock cv carb Sampson fishtails and k/n filter..Maybe I should not compare but I don't think that the 2015 heritage really has a 5 gallon tank...I drive it in city and as much on freeway as possible. Can anyone tell me what kind of mileage they are getting on their 2015 heritage. Thanks for reading phxman2015..Tony castman..
This is the same experience I have with my 2016 Heritage. I go about 150 miles and the light comes on, then the fillup is 4 gallons. So, we're getting about 37.5 mpg. Of course this is what happens when I'm traveling the interstate at about 75 mph.
Welcome to the Forums from Central IL. I thought all 08 and newer had 6 gal tanks, did a few years I know. I get about the same with my 07, Longshots, DK 587 air cleaner and a PIII tuner.
My 2016 fuel light comes on about 180 miles.ran out at 2009 and put in 4.8 gallons.to the best of my knowledge no heritage has ever had anything but a 5 gallon tank.
