I'm wanting to do some longer trips in the next couple of months with the wife so I'm in need of a 2 up seat that won't break the bank. I've already got a custom hard leather solo, a solo from a heritage springer, and then her little back fender pad with a sissy bar but I guess I need something wider for her because after a few hours the one she's got doesn't cut it anymore. Need some thoughts from you guys so I can buy once cry once instead of trying **** that doesn't work.
Obligatory pics of back seat chic to appease the guys who want help me without some skin.....
I'd prefer something that's low for me, I love my hard seat height and honestly I'd ride it for just as long as the bigger heritage seat just because the height feels better (I like being close to the ground, I'm 6' tall, just a preference).
How I like it.
How she almost likes it lol
How I like her.
Now help me make her booty more comfy for longer rides.
Hands down, Mustang Wide Vintage. have had several over the years and she never complains about long hours in the saddle. Pillions come in 2 widths in many models--- just go wide, they need room to move too.
Thanks man. I'd actually looked at that one about 20 times and my hand is hovering over the "buy" button but I wanted to make sure before I dropped the coin from someone who's used it. It looks to me to be the most comfy thing out there for this style of bike.
+1 on the mustang vintage wide. I put one on my bike last week along with the wide pillon for my GF. Way more comfortable the the stock Fatboy seat and matching wide touring pillon. GF was comfortable all day 300 plus mile trip and no sore booty complaints.
I made an appointment and rode my 2016 Heritage to Mean City Cycle in NC. They turned my stock seat from a 1 1/2 hour seat into a 3 hour seat for minimal investment.
I forgot to mention.
Thanks for the eye candy.
