HEY ALL, COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT d08set (SPEEDOMETER POWER OVER VOLTAGE) MEANS AND WHERE I START MY TROBLESHOOTING. CANT FIND ANYTHING IN MANUALS OR INTERNET SEARCHES. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
Hey Bone Doc, bike is a 2000 Heritage Softail Classic, its Carbed. It is related to my issues from a month ago. Wifes been in Hospital for the last month, home now doing fine so back to bike. Been riding without light fuse, no lights, but bike runs great. Was reading about error codes so i put my lights fuse in and rode till bike started acting up, stopped and checked error codes, and got d08SEt = speedometer power over voltage. Removed Lights Fuse and everything was good. Been searching for the d08 code on the Web and cant find anything besides speedometer power over voltage. Though maybe someone would know. Sorry for the All Capital Letters in first post, im Hard Hearing. LOL.
