Does anybody know if it's possible to put a fuel gauge (maybe a newer gas tank) on a '98 Fatboy ?

I think they started putting them standard on the 99s, but not sure.

Sorry I can't help. I have a fuel gauge but never rely on it. I never had one before and I'm in the habit of zeroing my trip meter when I fill up. The way I ride my Springer I like to go 160 -170 before gasen up. Never ran out and I think it may be more reliable.
