2600 miles in 6 years. To me that screams neglect.
All fluids (oil, trans, primary, fork, brake) will have to be changed.
Tires will have to be replaced.
Gaskets & seals could be dried out.
Hoses & belt most likely have to go.
Unless the dealer is including all those things in the 12,200 price, run far away very fast.

All fluids have been changed. Tires, etc... all look fine.
the important thing is is it a fair/good deal to you? The dealer us usually at least 2K more than a private seller but they say they change all the fluids an check everything over including tires....is there any type of warranty?
If selling bikes works like selling cars go in on the last day of the month...pay is based on units sold for the month an they could be a unit or two from a bonus an make you a better deal.
I'd wait. Winter is the time to buy when no one comes thru the door for a couple days. I bought my '16 Heritage, white and teal, Christmas Eve 2015 for $17000, no fees just tax. A 7 year old Deluxe for $12300 I think is still too high. It only cost $16000 when new. Patience, tradeins are coming soon and so is winter. Always make them the offer, tell them what you are willing to pay and put it in writing so they know you are serious and lay your checkbook on the salesmens desk. If they don't want your money tell them you will find what you want elseware. They won't want you to walk out with that checkbook........ unless they have a check. Don't budge from your offer and don't let them try to tack on a transaction fee of $250. They try to sneak that in the column by the taxes. Refuse to pay it because it is actually part of their additional profit by way of office bullsxxt. Be firm but don't be afraid to walk out. Harley has made millions of bikes. If you (fools rush in) it could cost you an easy$1000 added to their profit.
