Shifter and spacer UPDATE: Photos and measurements
I got a Arlen Ness shifter and Kuryakyn Spacer however the shifter is not completely on the shaft. Will this cause any issues? Could I remove the spacer and use just the shifter itself? It seems to have atleast as much purchase as the stock shitfter would.
Measurements
Regular shifter width 19.12mm
Arlen Ness shifter width 22.94mm
Stock Spacer 5.88mm
Kuryakyn Eliminator 25.2mm
Excess over shaft with AN shifter and stock spacer installed 4mm

I don't know what what spacer you have but the lever is not on far enough. The arlen ness shifter you have is toe & heel, are you using that one or just the toe shifter? You could find the correct part or back in the day we'd make one.
I ordered from Revzilla. According to thier Item number it is a #1046 which is the same that Kuryakyn shows.
Looks like you are also using the stock black spacer, should you omit that? Looks like it might line up if you left it out. Now that I thought about it, I was wrong earlier. The touring and RK spacer is the short spacer, Softail spacers are longer.
He's just using the toe. The spacer is making up for the missing heel. Lose the spacer, put the toe shift all the way on and get an end cap from the dealer.
Last guy I saw doing the spacer/end mount I had to dodge his shifter flying at my head at 75 mph.

It came as a heel/toe shifter however I wanted just the toe as it is supposed to be "reduced reach" but does not seem to be. I did add a Covingtons peg that is thicker so that the reach was somewhat less. Would it be a bad Idea to use just the heel shifter without a spacer?
