Default Which Progressive lowering kit???

I am considering dropping my front end about 1" or 2" with one of these kits. I recently put a 21" RW on the front, already have a Shotgun Shock on the rear and want to improve the look, but don't want to lose handling. I know the Progressive brand name, but want input on which kit I should go with. The original front lowering kit, The "Drop-In" lowering kit, or the Monotube cartridge lowering kit. if money was not an option which would be best for my 2006 Deluxe? I appreciate all opinions!!!

Cartridges if you can afford them. I went with the drop in kit and SE heavy oil because I wanted more than a one inch drop. If I was cool with the standard 1" drop, I would have ponied up.

I was thinking of going with the monotubes also. want the look but don't want to lose handling. Wanted to swap out the lower fork legs for some chrome ones at the same time, so may need to save some money to get both.

Monotubes all the way. I have them along with a shotgun on my Deluxe, and am going to install them in my '95 FLSTN as well. My Dad is running them in both of his Softails too. We installed chrome lowers at the same time to avoid redundant work. They are a huge improvement in ride quality and comfort while lowering the bike a bit. Say goodbye to front end dive!

I have the same setup on my Slim, SS in the rear and Monotubes in the front, except I went with the stock height kit for mine.
The difference with those two upgrades can't easily be described.
I did the Shotgun first, and that improved the rear so much that it really highlighted just how bad the stock front shocks were, so I upgraded those too.
I even did a write-up on the Monotubes, that includes before and after videos of the travel in the front.
Before the upgrade there was a good 4" of sloppy travel just from hitting the brakes - the Monotubes cut that down to about half that - much more firm with better control...
Highly recommended...
