Hey guys I just bought an 07 fxstc and they said it doesn't have security.
I've been told it came stock with security. So how can I tell if it doesn't have security or if it has been disabled and if so how do I re enabled it

Not trying to give you a hard time here, just trying to simplify things for you. First, welcome to the forum. Lots of experiences and good advice here. Also a lot of knuckleheads. You'll eventually weed them out for yourself.
Second, try posting with the specific information you're looking for in your thread title. For example, this one could be "FXSTC Security". There are also sub forums that address more specific things. You might scroll through and find something a little closer to the subject at hand. Best of luck in your search!
Furthermore, if you find that you have the security module and no key fob came with the bike, you can just buy a key fob from Harley and program it. Don't buy into the bs that the dealership has to program it for you
When you turn the ignition on does the security light (red light shaped like a key) illuminate? If so then you have a security system otherwise you may have one but just defective or you may only have a TSM.

it does have a red key, so it's probley absd security module ? but it starts with out a fob
Yes it does indeed have the TSSM but it is not set to auto arm and is not armed. You just need to get some FOBs and pair them to the TSSM. And one further thought, when you do get the fobs and pair, take the time and set your security PIN code as well. This will save your bacon if you have any issues with the FOBs not working due to EM interference or you lose your FOB. The instruction sheets are out there and if nothing else they are in the owners manual. If you do not have one you can find online versions on the Harley web site in the "Owners" section. You will want to look at the "Factory Installed Security System" for the tables that describe exactly what you need to do.
