There's any easy way if you happen to be using LED headlight or driving lights. The bundle of headlight wires runs next to the frame at the steering stem. I used a posi-tap to connect my driving lights to the high beam wire, and another to the ground wire. This works for me because my headlight and driving lights are LED and draw much less current than the stock incandescent bulbs. You could still do this with incandescent if you connect your driving lights to your low beam. I'm afraid the driving lights and high beam together would draw too much current with incandescent bulbs. It's would still be a good place to tap your relay trigger though.
The lights I got came with incandescent, not planning on up grading to leds anytime soon. Probably not a good idea to run these off the headlight wires.
Anyways got everything hooked up and tested. The orange/white accessory wire works fine to trip the relay switch. Doesn't turn off on high beam either.
Just need to go riding to empty the tank so I can take it off. Always make a huge mess with the gas trying to get the tank off...
