OK now that ive been wearing my Full Face a while im undecided. Ive got a fulmer and my peripheral vision sucks with it on. Are they all like this or is it just this helmet. Its also hard to turn my head and look back before a lane change. Helmets are too expensive to just go buying them until you find one you like.
I know safety is most important, but there's an image to be upheld too ....
Very glad to hear the OP bought a FF
Regarding keeping an image, it depends on whether you want to project:
- a good image to all the strangers out there for a few seconds who won't care and won't remember you,
- or a good image of your face for your children, wife, yourself and your loved ones for the rest of your life.
I get the best FF helmet that I can get. Spending all the money on the bike and going cheap on safety gears is foolish imho. No motorcycle will protect you, the helmet will.
I don't have a HD yet, but if I do, then a FF it will be and wearing ATGATT. Other HD riders may not like it ... that's ok with me they are free to have their opinion

I'm far past the whole image thing of being on a Harley with a FF on. Problem now (as stated earlier) is I feel less safe with it on because of the peripheral vision. Guess I need to try more helmets.

I have both Arai and Shoei and have not peripheral vision issue. Take a look at Bell and Schuberth too. They are not cheap. I know it hurted when I had to spend $600 on my Arai and $500 on the Shoei. But those are money well spent. I just cut down on other accessories and upgrades.

I guess that's the problem. My Fulmer was only like $125
