I got the new HD Mustache Engine Guard, for my 03 Heritage. Similar to the the Lindy, but with rounded corners, it is genuine HD and it is cheaper. Have a look before you decide.
Had a Lindby on my '02 Fat Boy. It was OK, but I like the looks of the Mustache when they came out. Got a good deal on it from Dales HD/Surdyke's website but it took forever and their customer service really is lacking.
I'd get the part # and try Zanotti Motors in Butler, PA. I've had good luck there lately. Great prices and they keep you updated on your order. You can do a part # search on their site and compare to the HD catalog or other online dealers.
I had some Lindby bars on my '99 Night Train and it seems that either people like or don't, not much middle of the road. Being 6'3" the Lindby bar was too close for my long legs so I have removed them and have ordered some others... Anyone want a heck of a deal on a Lindby bar?
ive got the harley moustache bar on my fatboy (you can see pic's under "flashin") and i think it turned out great- the only thing is im about 6'0" and the black foot rest part isnt real comfortable but im sure if you added some pegs itd be perfect.
