Default Screamin Eagle Stage 1

Hey all , my bike has a SE sage 1 that I a running a open filter on with a rain sock and a chrome outer plate. the base of the filter where it bolts to the intake at is a horrible looking alloy color. my scoot is vivid black. im curious if I can take that base off and paint it a gloss black ? I don't really wanna rattle can it because that would look cheap but im not sure if a actual gloss paint would stick to it or not . I don't really want to sand it and remove material. plasti dip maybe? anyone have any good ideas as to how I could clean the look of it up versus having the ugly alloy color? I don't really want to send it out to get chromed either even know that would probably look best

I was considering that also. gonna have to look around here for someone who does powder coating or even chrome for that matter. I don't even know how much that stuff costs
