Putting on my new xmas present. All of the electric is done. The front brake line is changed and going to start on the hydraulic clutch line this afternoon. I lost motivation when I realized we left our mitey vac at the previous home. Anyway, Im loving the way this thing is shaping up so wanted to share. Hope everyone is having a great New Years eve!
I wish I was a taller person because those 16 look so good on there! Any tips on doing the brake line side? You have ABS yeah? Oh yeah did you go with the HD kit?

I ordered a kit off of ebay from HCC (http://www.hillcountrycustomcycles.com/) that included all cables and wire extensions. The bars were 1.25 and much better than I pictured. The wire extensions were a big time saver, but its the first time I have done something like this without soldering the wires, so we will see how it hold up. Good news is that the stock cables are long enough that they make it all the way through the handlebar's so if I have to solder later, I can do so without much effort. One thing to note, the extension for the throttle by wire was not the right extension. For some reason the cable had plenty of slack so I was able to use the stock cables for this piece without any problem.
The bike does have ABS and I only replaced the line from the master cylinder to the ABS module on the front of the bike. I bled it like normal using a mitey vac, and it was pretty good, but not perfect. I then tied the brake lever squeezed and went to bed. Over night, whatever bit of air that was in there worked its way out and in the morning the brake was tight as ever. Additionally, the ABS light acts normal. No flashing or anything. Since its recommended to bleed with the digital tech, Ill probably have them do it when I get my 1000 mile service.
Last bit of advice, get the manual. Its worth its weight in gold and doesnt cost all that much.
