Default Blue Tooth Communication Systems

Planning a long ride with buddies this spring. Several guys have a blue tooth device, the SENA 20-s http://www.sena.com/product/20s/ These have a pretty good reputation enabling, intercom (up to 1.2 miles), music, telephone and GPS. Noted these are for full faced helmets which I wear all the time anyway.
Anyone have experience with these or other blue tooth devices to recommend?

Had the SENA SMH10 and was very happy with it.

If I was to once again need a bluetooth communication system I wouldn't even shop around. I just go and buy a SENA system.

Wife and I got the Sena 20's, the Scala G4 gave up on us. Both of us ride Modular helmets and they were easy to install. The distance is very good, and the music is loud enough at highway speeds. Just make sure you keep the firmware updated as they come out pretty fast. Never use the phone while I am riding, I tell work I will check in at different times of the day.

We used them on our 2 week trip to Sturgis in 2016 and the only time we lost pairing, was we just got too far apart. Great system, takes a little time to get used to all the functions. The iPhone app has the basic manual, so we can read up if we have any issues.

Sena 20s.. the best, I was part of a team of 4 riders who used Senas to ride from Miami, FL to Sturgis and back, it worked almost flawlessly, distance is great, the phone App is polished, easy to attach to helmet, and long battery life, pay the extra money and get Sena. Rode tested for 5400 miles. :-)

I just got the Sena 20s. I paired it with a friend and we chatted for 50 miles while riding, I have answered the phone and it's pretty clear. Music is not quite loud enough at 80mph but I'm in a half helmet with the speakers velcroed to the earflaps so that's probably the best I can do.

I had the SENA SMH10 that I bought almost brand new from a friend strictly for the music and you're right. I found that the sound quality was not that much better in a full face helmet so I sold it. It was a good unit just wasn't worth the effort to use it. No big deal, I paid $30 for it and sold it for $50 so everybody was happy.

I have the Sena 10c with the built in camera. It works great. I recently switched from an iPhone to a Samsung phone and it actually works better with that as far as connection.

A couple items to note...
Speaker location is pretty important. I first had it in a modular helmet, but the ear sockets in that helmet were far too high and toward the rear. The speakers pinched the tops of my ears and it was hard to hear. The microphone boom was kind of a pain too. My new helmet, a full face Arai, has perfect ear socket placement so the sound and comfort are much much better.

The 10C doesn't mount when plugged into my computer. I should have sent it back, but didn't. To off load pictures and video, I have to pull the SD card and plug that into my desktop.
