Default Need help making bike more comfortable.

Long story short I bought my first bike in 2016 to get into with my father who passed away shortly after leaving me with 2 more bikes that I'll never sell. So the one is a 2000 Heritage that I want to make more comfortable for me. I put foreword controls on my FXDX which made it really comfortable and now rides how I imagine a chopper would. I'm 6'2 and from what I've ready my options for the heritage are lepara daddy long legs seat, or forward controls. Could I get some recomendations, and not just general like ideas but actual parts, like I said I just got my first Harley last year so when someone says a generalized part it actually takes me quite a while to find what they are talking about. Thanks for any help and patience y'all.

Might Help if you tell us why it is uncomfortable? Controls are already forward (floor boards) on a Heritage. Does it have Highway bars? Ape hangers?

Sorry, so I feel like I'm almost on the tank and my feet on the floor board my knees are higher than the tank. Has highway bars with pegs but even on those my knees are too bent. The handlebars are stock and keep my elbows almost tucked in. I like how my legs feel on the Dyna with foreword controls but they have 14 in ape hangers and I have to hunch over while I ride. So I want to have more leg room and not have to tuck my elbows yet not have to hunch over. I have pretty long arms and legs, shorter torso.

If possible I would like to keep to the floorboard look, like to keep to his theme as much as possible

Not familiar with the Daddy long legs seat but I do have a Lepara barebones on my Slim and it moves me away from the tank. My heels usually end up propped on the front of the boards. Also have boards moved forward 1", 2.5" extended shifter and 2" extended brake. Run 16" apes racked forward with quite a bit of pullback. Similar height, 6' 2", 34" inseam.

Ok I like the sound of resting my heels on the board, I didn't realize you could just replace the shifter and break with extended ones I think I'll look into that.

Baker custom, Softbrake, and EZ brake just to name a few all make extended shifter and brake. In process of mocking up some pegs that I got from DK Custom's on my crash bar. My intention is to have heel on board and top of foot on peg.
