Cut down Nostalgia windscreen. I had a problem with severe head buffeting with a 16", annoying head buffeting with an 18', and I hated looking through the billboard 20". I tried lower deflectors, but that didn't work.
So, I cut one down to about 10". I started with cutting 4" off, then a little more and a little more. Trimmed some off the sides and then tapered the top to end up with this height. This cut enough wind pressure to my mid section, and puts my head in clean air.
I put a windsplitter by Harley on mine. The little louver really helps to send the wind up and over your head. I also like the curve it has. It is also quick release.

I put masking tape over the whole surface and using a cardboard template, drew the cut lines with a sharpie. I used an abrasive cut off wheel on my angle grinder to make the cuts, then a sanding disc to refine and smooth the edge.
Stealth Fairing with Alpine head unit and Polk components
Like the looks of the fairing! How long have you ran it, any problems? Using this fairing do you still need the fangs? I have a clear screen and fangs, would love to get rid of the fangs! I wonder how that would look with the mini apes on my bike?
