I had a flyscreen on my 94 an it knocked the wind off my chest on the highway to take pressure off, i had a Memphis shades bullet an it seems to flow air right up under my half helmet an put a little extra pressure on my head....the wind vest is better but air still hits my head a little too much for my liking so I picked up some 4" risers to raise it up a tad. I got a smokin deal on a HD detachable, I bought it so I can attach a radio unit to it. If I go that route I'll be selling the wind vest.
I had a detachable, amoungst other things put on my '17 Slim S. I'd like to post a pic of it but the bike is in storage at the HD dealership until they deliver it to me in March. Sorry........
I've got the fabulous "billboard" Nostalgia King. Might try the 16" since going to the lower seat has put the edge right in my line of vision. Annoying.
I have the stock Heritage windshield. It serves its purpose. If I sit up straight I look over it. If I sit back I look through it which works in the rain or to keep the Texas bugs off my face.
