2006 FLSTN Softail Deluxe start and running problems

I wished I had! Have passed on all the suggestions and tips I received here to my mechanic. He said he did all the checks as suggested, but we're still back to square one.
He had sent the bike to another mechanic - different shop in town - also with great experience in Harleys - . Spoke with my guy last Saturday - they are both baffled, no good outcome, they don't know what else to do. I am now 7 months without the bike and going crazy. This thing has rattled everybody and having no end in sight is beyond words. The same thing is happening over and over - the simplistic flow of events is this: guy checks something, then re-calibrates, starts, bike goes fine, turns off, leaves to rest, after short time - let's say 10 minutes - the bikes starts ok. Leave longer than an hour or even a day, when starting the same **** over again.
I don't know what to do. Has already cost a pile of money and am still without a bike.

IF THE BIKE RAN FINE PRIOR TO THIS HAPPENING, YOU HAVE A LEAN SPIT OCCURRING DUE TO INTAKE LEAKAGE OR SOMEHOW THE MAP IN THE POWERCOMMANDER GOT CORRUPTED.
There really isnt rocket science going on here...ITS THE BASICS!
Proper diagnostics will certainly reveal the issue. You still havent got to a qualified mechanic IMO.

IF THE BIKE RAN FINE PRIOR TO THIS HAPPENING, YOU HAVE A LEAN SPIT OCCURRING DUE TO INTAKE LEAKAGE OR SOMEHOW THE MAP IN THE POWERCOMMANDER GOT CORRUPTED.
