I am having trouble with, I think, the TSSM. I have replaced fob batteries so am sure they are ok. If the bike hasn't been started for a short while I have to disconnect the battery, reconnect it and the the fob will do its stuff. Sometimes its fine when I stop when on a ride and restarts as it should but often I am faced with disconnecting the battery and reconnecting. A real pain.
TBH I cant even figure out which component is the TSSM. I found an earlier post that mentions a module number 68920-01 and a procedure to reveal the PIN by a number of flashes of the red security key. Where would I find out the module number on my bike? I have tried to follow instructions in manual to get PIN display on odometer but mine does not display. Bike is a 2001 FXST and problem started not long before I laid up for winter. Any help appreciated.
