I have one. It's a back-saver on long trips. I had it re-covered to match my seat when I had that done up.

I've never had an issue with that, but the bracket is flat steel and kinda springy.

I'm 5'8' and 165lbs. There's only so much weight I can put against it

I put one on my Deluxe recently and like it a lot. I don't have any issue with it bending or flexing to my weight. It's no better or worse than the HD backrest I have on my Limited. You won't be able to recline on it like a Lazy-Boy but it should support you well in a normal riding position.

I have one on my mine, it does move you forward just a bit and it does help. I have pushed back pretty hard when riding and wanting to adjust position and have not had any issues with bending the metal.

I have one on mine. Been there for 20,000+ miles. I'm 5' 11", 200 lbs. I lean against it quite a bit. No problems, and super comfortable for me.

it sucks and is useless. Kinda springy means that if you lean back it has no support. Don't waste your money. Mine is in the garbage.

Pushed me too far forward & the springy feeling made me wonder if the seat bolts were made to handle that stress weighing on them.

When I was confident I was done with it, I took it apart for fun & was not impressed by the construction.

In the trash it went.
