I have the Arlen Ness lowering kit on my factory shocks, lowered the back at least 2 inches (i actually have the back a bit lower now about 1/2 covering the white wall)and 2 inches up front. My floorboards scrape if I lean much but hey, as long as it looks nice thats what counts to me

The kit will only bring it down an inchand a bit,at best. I am not sure of your goal here, but my friend did the same thing to his FB and didn't like it because he scraped around corners after lowering the bike. He has since removed the kit and customed his seat and bars, to accommodate his height disadvantage, which he is much happier with.
6'3" here, exactly my case, word by word. I did not liked lowering my ride.

Regards.
