Hey all so everyone I know with an HD has a black security fob , my father in laws ultra has one , my dads 08 ultra and his 05 Heritage have one , cousins 2012 SGS has one , uncles 09 Dyna has one but yet my 14 Heritage doesn't?


I have 2 keys I got with it that I can use to lock the on and off dial and the fork lock but no security fob? I bought it used last year and didn't really know much about if I should get fobs or not. is there different options as far as security goes? just trying to figure out some more info

 

If you don't have a security fob, and your bike starts, they you don't have electronic security, just mechanical security than that you supply by locking the ignition and/or forks with your barrel keys. Electronic security is a $$$ option on most bikes.

 

My '14 Slim has two.... And without one of them, or the security code, all I get is a headache.

ok that explains it then. I didn't know if it was an option or a factory spec thing . if it was an option that explains it all . kinda figured that but I didn't want to assume.
