Yes I'm a new member but just want to get right into it! Did a hard saddlebag conversion to my 03' Fatboy and recently lost a bag due to using a cheap bracket system with a week snap-ring retainer. Just installed a Bagger Tail system and a Brukus bolt system, and a used set of bags from a 2014 Limited. These bags came with the Electra Glo LED light system but the dealer says the $140 harness won't work on my old-*** bike.
Idea's, suggestions or past experience would be welcome, and yes softail purists I get that I should just not roll any bags BUT I do take long trips a few times a year and need to get the cargo down low as opposed to hanging on the back of a passenger backrest.
