Hey guys! Meant to check in during the winter, but was pulling some long shifts.
Anyways...I took the Softail out for the first run this spring. No clunk into first, and neutral was easy, but I noticed going into second the shift lever was really stiff. Third was better, and fourth was easy again.
I did a fluid change and made only one run around town. seems kinda the same.
the fluid seemed dingy and dirty. do I just have to work the new fluid thru the clutch plates a bit? was ok before winter....

 

Following, I've got the same problem. I might try adjusting the clutch cable a bit tighter.

 

Ill take a look at the cable today. It seems more like its internal. I really have to push my foot into the lever going into second.

 

Exact same issue. Gets a little easier once it warms up.
