Default Grips without......well grip

I was wondering if anyone has the "spike" style grips on their bike and if they have any issues with hands slipping off in rain, or sore hands on long rides. I'm guessing the slippery part is kind of obvious but want to get opinions. thanks!

try rubber knurled, i have had these one my superglide and now my fat boy. they don't get hot in the summer or cold and you hands won't ever slip off of them. they are about the same size as stock, so your hands won't ever cramp, never needs a cramp buster!!

I don't know what a "spike" style grip is, but I've removed all-metal grips off two of my bikes for just the reasons you mentioned, and replaced them with grips that have at least 50% raised rubber.

I just installed Avon ISO grips with the knurled rubber and they are great so far. No problems with or without gloves. Much better then the stock grips that the bike came with.

Avon conture is one that has a spike on the outer edge. Have them on my Blackline, no slip and the milled end is larger than the rubber so your hands can't slip off.
