Thanks for allowing me to join the forum. I ride a 2016 slim. I was hoping you guys could help me out. I just installed new risers and went to start the bike and it's not starting. Lights come on, initial beep sounds, my power commander lights up and I can hear the fuel pump and that's it. Dash doesn't light up, no horn nothin! I originally thought my battery was weak, so it's been on the trickle charger now for a few hours. The battery is fine and I checked the main fuse and the three fuses in that block are ok. I removed the speedo dash and all the wiring under it seems to be okay. Any suggestions? It was running and starting fine before the riser instal. I didn't disconnect any wiring in in the process, yet it seems like something obvious must be going on. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Check for pinched wires around the bolts for the riser or anywhere else you were working for that matter. The issue is very likely around the place you were working.
You just have to backtrack your riser install, it's something simple you missed. Worse scenario would be tension on the wiring harness and something popped loose. Good luk with it.

Found pinched wires. Pinched by the riser bolt and washer. Loosened bolt, all is good now. Back in the wind! Thanks for all the suggestions!
Good deal. You might want to make sure those wires don't touch anything again. Hopefully, only one wire is exposed. Double check them anyways, you don't want them to short out on you while going down the road, or in the middle of a corner. You can prevent any issues now.

Good advice....
Wires are not like water hoses... pinch'em they stop flowing, un-pinch'em they work...
Something (insulation?) was damaged by the pinching of the wires. Best to find it and fix it now rather than on the side of the road...
