What's up! So...I have a 2016 Fatboy S and I recently got a used Reckless fairing with a spot for 4 5 1/4 speakers and a head unit. I have a Memphis shield on the bike now with the quick connect and all. The brackets I got with the fairing are too wide to hook into the Memphis quick connect bolts. Does anyone know what I need to make it work? The Reckless website says something about their brackets require OEM HD windshield mounting hardware...also...I have 12" tbars on mine so is there a way to make it work with those or will I need to change my bars? Thanks in advance for any help!
I just bought a Reckless Fairing for my '13 Heritage. The only problem I had was the OG Clear Windshield Bracket was 13" wide. The Reckless Fairing brackets are 13&1/2" wide. I got it to fit but what I'm going to do is shim the bracket where it bolts onto the fairing. I have it on the OG hookups from my clear fairing. I was going to see if I can find 1/4" stainless steel or chrome spacers. If not, I was going to use washers. Nobody will see them except me. Hope this helps. I just got the fairing 3 weeks ago. I will say this for Reckless Fairings, It looks great on my Heritage and the system kicks butt. I also had to loosen my small lights and turn them down to get it on, then raise them back to the right position. Otherwise the fairing wouldn't slide onto the brackets.

How did the brackets go on yours? Do they slide down in the quick connect channels? The brackets that come with mine will slide down in the Memphis quick connect channels but there is no way to tighten everything up once I do get the brackets to the right width.
I believe Pete3323 is right. Mine went right on the Harley hookups. Contact Reckless Motorcycles. They were pretty cool with me and the questions I had.
