I’ve done this to a couple different bikes that I’ve used stock risers on to keep my apes rock solid. It’s a cheap, fast, and simple mod that anyone can do for a few bucks. It’ll be the last time you worry about your bars slipping in my experience.
Simply center punch, drill and tap two new holes in-line with the clamp bolts and install two 1/4-20 x 3/4” setscrews. I centerpunch a few rows on the underside of the clamp where it will purchase the knurling on the bars as well for good measure. Install the top clamp by tightening the front two bolts completely, then the rear two. Tighten down your new setscrews and thread a chrome acorn nut on top. Using 3/4” setscrews leaves you about 3/8” protruding above the clamp for your acorn nuts. Done. I also replaced the ugly galvanized cap screws with plated ones while I was at it.
