$242.00
The head unit is a standard one. I run the same unit, but earlier model, on my roadking and my boat.

I was looking at strictly marine grade head units but I suppose a good cover like that would allow to run a standard head unit also. deffinatly for sure going with kicker marine speakers . do you think a marine grade amp would be needed ? it is going inside the fairing afterall

I've ran that same basic unit in my road king for 7 or 8 years with no issues. Only time the cover gets closed is if I wash the bike and need to wash and hose off the inner fairing. I plan to add amps to both of mine, and will use regular ones, not marine ones. My Woody's came with a water shield over the radio inside the fairing, and I made one for this one out of an old plastic bin. Very little, if any water can get inside, but it's an extra precaution.

I suspect it would depend on what they're made of. If you're buying them anyway, there's really not much difference in price to get marine versions and have the piece of mind.

that fairing you bought is gone. theyre out on ebay and on their actual website. I might run a reckless fairing. its 400 with a windshield and and trim and I know for 100% the quality will be good.

Hopefully they'll get more in stock soon, as I think I'm gonna buy another one.
