did a google search an found a guy that removed his from a TC fatboy an said it was nasty above 60 mph

Bad idea to remove those counterweights. That engine without counterweights is going to shake your fillings out of your head and every nut and bolt loose on that bike. The B engine is mounted solid to the frame. A engines (non-counter balanced) are isolated with bushings, and are designed to run unbalanced, the B engine is not.
Bad Idea to remove them.

Think of it this way.... we all know many areas/cases where the bean counters made the MoCo cheap out on a particular part(s)....

Would they have accepted the added cost & complexity of adding the balancer to the twin cam "B" motor, if they weren't convinced it was necessary to sell the product?

Plus, like mentioned above, the TC was designed to run with a balancer, it would be worse than an old EVO w/o it's balancer
