I wouldn't know. I've been too afraid to try one.
I'm actually not kidding. I'm not used to the handling yet so I take the turns very slowly.
Thanks. I'm thinking of adding one to the rear. Call it my "training wheels," so to speak, until I get more experience on the bike.
Can anyone recommend a good rear highway bar for this bike?

Thanks. I just went out there and snapped a pic of the underside for you:
Does that tell you what you want to know? If not, I can go look again but I didn't see any other markings.
I'm surprised that it's a Harley brand. I don't know why; I just assumed it was an aftermarket.
But I removed it. The seller included another (also aftermarket) seat I like better. The one above is about 17 inches wide and this one is about 15. This one is WAY more comfortable to me. I'll probably get a Mustang studded at some point. It's 14 inches and should be about perfect.
Here's the other, more comfortable seat:

You'll be flinging that thing around like it's a Schwinn beach cruiser within a couple weeks. No idea on the rear guards.
Arnold's stunt double has a great training video on riding a Fatboy but you don't have the LA River around so may be hard to practice.

I also don't have a cable system to make a 900+ pound (stuntman plus bike) drop into a 180-pound drop. I saw a documentary on that recently.
I hope you're right about a couple of weeks from now. As crazy as it may sound, I think the narrower seat will give me a touch more confidence. I haven't ridden it again because I don't yet have insurance or a tag.
