Sweet looking bike! When I got mine, I went to a big empty parking lot and rode, took a few minutes but I was soon scraping the floor boards without it scaring me. It is a heavy bike but does not take long to get used to it. The winters are VERY long here so I hit a parking lot to practice/throw it around a few minutes every spring as a reminder. I've been riding close to 40 years, I still go out and practice. Enjoy!!

Nice bike. The solid wheels make the fatty a bit of a challenge....if you change them to laced or some other open wheel I bet u like it better. Just my .02

I happen to live next to a semi-deserted 4-lane highway with a dead end about two miles down the road. It's a perfect place to practice. I also taught my oldest son a lot of driving instruction there about changing lanes, etc...

Even still, I might find an actual parking lot for more wide open spaces.

Uh...no.

For me, a HUGE part of the Fatboy's appeal is the solid wheels.
