From there site it looks like both are painted and clear coated.
Wouldn't the paint hold up the same?
Or is the ABS colored and not painted?

I ended up going with the cycle vision mounting kit, and a set of ABS bags from ebay. All said and done about $495 for everything. Locks are on order, as the bags didn't come with locks. You can see them from the new signature picture.
