Default Looking for bags

I've been looking for bags for my FXD, and, after ordering one pair that didn't fit, I've come looking for sage-like advice. I don't want to 'relocate' my rear turn signals, so I have found these: the Saddlemen Cruis'n bags with shock cutaway and the Saddlemen S4 quick-disconnect kit.
Has anyone used these before? If so would you recommend them, and do they fit? After all my searches they seem to be the best fit (for myself, and my bike) that I can find.
Any feedback at all on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure any quick disconnect kit is going to require you to move your turn signals. I could be wrong. If you dont want to move your signals, you can use some small throw overs of the "slant" shape and that would work.

Don't have those bags but from my research the bags will work without relocating the signals if they are throwovers, however, the quick disconnect kit would require the relocation of the turn signals. There are 4 bolts.

A good pair of throwovers from Fox Creek or site sponsor US Saddlebag work great and turn signals don't need to be relocated.

Also, I see that since you are a newbie, you'll notice that there is a search tab at the upper right - we've had LOTS of discussions on this so there are a lot of good options out there.

Well, that's disconcerting. I was hoping for something simple.

I'll check out US Saddlebags. Thanks.
I've checked out some of the threads on bags, which is where I found the "cutaway" option. I also saw the Fox Creek bags, which I like, but damn they are expensive. I've always wanted one of their jackets.

I've been where you are. I tried every way to come up with the cheapest solution, but eventually moved the signals and installed HD bolt on bags. Now I have bags that were made to fit my bike. Save it up, suck it up, and move the signals and put on a good set of bags.
