It's all about the companies separating you from your money. A new model comes out and the same type of buyer come running in. Chevy does that with their Corvettes, Ford does that with their Mustangs. Marketing 101. Wait a year or two until the hype dissipates before you even consider looking at em. Then if you're still interested in buying one wait until the end of the month when they up against their sales quota.
Just bought a 17 FLSTC for $15,900 and they started at $20,002. Don't know if that's the best deal but certainly a change from always paying MSRP and probably an alright price in MA where everything costs more...

please provide dealer name and number, I would like to call them.
I dunno what they are selling for but to say bikes are not moving is crazy...well at the local HD by me. My unofficial adopted son is a salesman there and he has been selling between 25 and 33 the last few months by himself. They must be doing something right but I can't afford em so I am keeping my 09.
I have been hitting up my local dealer's also (allot of bikes are setting collecting dust).
So far nothing like the prices listed in this thread though.
Still waiting for a couple to get back to me, this area is notorious for being high priced though.
For the right price I would ride home on a new Deluxe.
Pass on those dealer names/numbers that are looking to sell bikes.
