big discount on the 2017 softtails
at the harley store today 2017 softtail delux 15 thousand out the door 2017 softtail slim 14 thousand 500 out the door i can see the new motor for 2018 softtail modles

Yep, something is going on. Just bought a new 2017 Slim S for $16,240 + TTL
I didn't want one with the new M8 motor. I know the 110 motor inside and out, what to do to it and what not to do. Putting GMR 577 cams, D&D 2-1 exhaust, S&S lifters and pushrods and the GMR Compensaver now and having Steve at GMR tune it.
I'm just glad I didn't buy one last year for MSRP, like I came close to doing. I would be a bit unhappy right now instead of grinning like a Cheshire cat

Same thing here in Ohio.
My FXSB MSRP with the Velocity Red Paint MSRP $19524. I bought the bike for $17700. On top of that I traded in my 2016 Road Glide Ultra and I owed $24,800. Dealer paid off my Road Glide (so I had no sales tax on the FXSB) and gave me the 1,000 mile service for free.

they only love your money. i have a buddy who tried to trade in 4 immaculate sportsters. they offered his 3k. they told him the price was so low because each bike has to be inspected by the shop which charges the sales department 500 for each bike. Now what kind of BS is that, it's all one store. I've never bought a bike from the stealership

My dealer told me 2018 softail and dyna are getting m8 - we've bought 4 new harley off them in the past 3 years so they have no reason to lie to us. The Sales Manager told us not to upgrade to Stage 5 because next year the Breakout is getting m8 engine.
