OOPs..... not really sure why I needed a 3rd bike, but I've always loved the look of the Springers.
I've been casually looking for about a year. Last week I found an '01 FXSTS with 9,800 miles..... It's an 88" w/Carb (I haven't played with a carb since my '89 EVO Heritage, hope I remember how)..... It's in very good shape..... The price was right..... Plus, it was the least molested Springer I could find... It's all OEM except for the seat..... I now have a blank canvas I can set up to my liking, and I'll have all the OEM parts in storage, next to my '03 Heritage OEM parts. I feel fortunate to have found this one, and pretty close to home too...
I pick it up tomorrow. This is gonna be fun...... !

Nice... Mine's an 00. Had the same paint when I got it. Ride her about everyday and love it. What plans you thinkin?
Just a couple subtle appearance mods, want to keep the look...
I'm mostly an engine guy. I'll probably just do a stage II... dying to play with tuning a carb again... mixture, pilot jet, main jet... it's all coming back to me...
