Sorry, I am new. Signed up to ask you guys a question. I recently bought a 2014 breakout. The damn thing won't stop. If I grab a full brake, full strength I can bring the bike to stop but the anti-locks never kick in. I love to ride the bike but just can't make it stop. Any suggestions?

Sure sounds like you need a trip to the shop.
In the interest of curiosity, can you add more detail ? You sound like you're squeezing on the front brake only perhaps, and perhaps stopping but just without activating the ABS. Or,, do you need to gear down and coast to a stop ??
My experience with an unmodified 2014 BO has been that the stock front suspension is so weak and prone to excessive nose diving that on anything even approaching an aggressive stop, the "rear" ABS always kicks in. My 2014 BO has always "stopped" but stopping characteristics improved dramatically once I addressed the front suspension. For the moment, this doesn't really sound like your issue though.
I just called a different dealership and am going to take it in to them to let them diagnosis the brake issue. I'll see what they say and advise. Thank you.
First of all if the bike does not brake/stop there must be a technical issue. Good you take it in to the dealership to get it sorted out. And for those asking, the 2014 BO came with ABS from the factory.
But if you're breaking so hard you would expect the ABS to activate then you're definitely braking to hard. And if in this case it didn't then you would be off the bike if it's the front brake. I had my front ABS activate once and I was glad it did or I would have been off the road.
And yes, the front brake on the BO is not very good. Needs some practise to get used to it's braking characteristic. Going to a gym might help with it

Obviously the 2014 wasn't purchased new by the OP. If someone switched pads from the OEM sintered pads to organic pads, (ie Lyndal Gold +), inexperienced riders expecting that classic "grabby" feel when they apply brakes may think there's something wrong.
