I'm looking at pipes for a 06 Fatboy. I like the style of the Vance bigshot staggard and the Python3 it's similar. If I read correctly the Python is more of a performance pipe and is also louder. I'd like to get some feedback on the 2 pipes if there are any pros and cons between the 2
heck - I can't offer you any technical guidance here - all I can tell you was when I was debating between the various options - I got the Vance Hines Longshots. Sales guy said that they could set me up with whatever I wanted but that the Pythons were going to cost more. Unfortunately, $$ did rule. But the VH longs are plenty loud for me.

I believe the two exhausts are actually one and the same..I heard rumors those pythons are actually made by V&H. I may be totally wrong. Either way, I'd get the V&H's.. I think they're finished nicer. The staggered bigshots are a great exhaust system with the crossover.
my pipes have removeable baffles the turn down is part of the heat sheild. my chrome consultant (HD parts guy) said that the porker pipes are also made by V&H.

Here is an older and a newer pic of my 04 Fatboy with V&H Big Shots
The Big shots lined up extreamly well and have no uneven gaps along the lenght of the pipes.
I love them, they took away a few trouble areas too boot.
They don't heat up the wifes ankle like the stockers and allowed for the installation of all kinds of saddlebags and options.
