One concern I have is, when riding down the road on the 18 FB, I couldn't see the the tach nor the gas gauge very well. It was sunny and had to put my hand over the dash to block the sun. I think that was a engineering screw up. Love the clutch.
Have you actually seen the bike?? 3 1/2 gallon tank..... ain't gonna be much cruising on a bike like that. Gonna be too busy ripping down the road to even think about using CC. Hell I barely use the cruise on my bagger!
The new 2018 Fatboy has a 5 gallon tank. Its the Breakout that went down to a 3.5 Gallon. I never use Cruise control..

The Clutch is amazing on the new Fatboy. Super light and smooth like butter. That was the first thing I noticed!
Mine didn't come with cruise, and that's a great question. Cruise was standard on the '16-'17 Fat Boy S, I'm not quite sure why its isn't on the '18 and looking at the stat's, it does not appear to be offered either. The '18's are also throttle by wire (just as the '16 and '17's are) it should be an easy add on just as the touring bikes once were when it didn't come standard. Of the four '18 modeld that came in, one of them had cruise, I just don't remember which. I sure hope it become available in the future..
Should not be an issue. I added it to my list for when I buy the bike

Whats it like to have more money than self control?
You mean... good credit score... I have no money It is easy when you just pay 230.00 a month for life, LOL !!!
All joking aside... got the rear tire for the Slim S today... will get that on the bike asap. Wife might put a stop to my plans... but only if she finds out before I do so... so we are on stealth mode for the next few weeks...
My Road King Special is still on my lift getting finished up and I have to be honest, the more and more I ride this new Fat Boy, the more likely I'm going to sell the Road King, I diggin' this new Fat Boy that much!
