Hey Puttnutt if yuo only had to pick 1 what one would yuo keep? Your Road King Special or the new Fatboy you got? When the new Road King Special came out last year I was tempted to by it and give the Road King another chance. Now this new Fatboy really has me intrigued.

Crap.... going to have to ride them back to back to decide... I want this one to be my last bike...

Lol.. Its never the Last bike. Ive said that before myself. Bt let me know what you come up with when you test ride them. I like both for different reasons but id have to test ride them myself before I can even make that comment. With that being said I definitely see myself picking the Fatboy just because unless something changed I know the Road Kings are top heavy. They ride nice on open road but at a stop or parking them they don't feel that balanced like a Softail. I really see myself on the new 2018 Fatboy buy next summer.

Yeah, I am not going to kid myself... called the dealer to let me know if they can get me a 114 in the blue denim 115 anniversary color. Going with the FatBoy... just like in the photo I posted earlier... bags, windshield, backrest... that is it.
I recently had a look at the new bikes in person and I'll have to admit the Fatboy looks badass. They had a grey one at Riders in Pelham with someone's name on it.
I may have to change my screen name soon is all I can say.
Lol.. Dude. Maybe the far away silhouette resembles it as in shape in the distance. But that crappy looking first gen Victory looks nothing like the new Fatboy. Not even close. I almost puked in my mouth when I saw that Victory the first time. Are you sure you say the new 2018 Fatboy in person?? Lol..
I mean if anything the side view looks closer the original Fatboy with the longer sweeping rear fender. But even that it doesn't.. No way! That thing was FUGLY!!!!
i didn't mean it to look like the new one. you're misunderstanding my point. i'm stating that they look closer to the original fat boy. a lot of their models looks like harley did at the same time period. then harley remained the same and victory came out with models like the vegas, hammer and 8 ball.. harley followed later with the rocker and a few others.. you're missing the point totally, i guess being young or to young to remember or so young you wern't around when these things happened.. it's like talking to my 21 year old step kid, thinks he know's everything but needs to learn some life lessons
