Speedo fine, Odometer not
Hey y'all,
On my 1996 Heritage Softail Classic (FLSTC)...
Had the oil tank and starter out. Reinstalled everything and went for a ride. About 10 mins in I smelled something electrical getting hot, but wasn't sure if it was me. Couple days later I go for another ride and smell it again the same amount of time into the ride. Now, I know it's me because my odometer display (digital) quit. My speedo / tach (analog needles) and all lights work perfect. I figure that during reinstall I got a wire leaning against something that gets hot, but I can't find any.
