I have Reckless Fairing on my '13 Heritage and I chose the 8" windshield. I'm 5'8" and the Shield is too high for my taste. At night it's a little dark to see through unless I sit up straight. So, what I'm getting at is, Have any of you brothers or sisters put a different brand windshield on a Reckless Fairing? And if so, what brand did you go with and what size. I'm looking at a 6" or 4.5". Just wanted to get some input on what other people have gone with. Thank You And Ride Safe.
I got a "light tint" Long Ride Shields Ultra 8" and my view is just over the top.
From what I can recall the LRS sizes are measured from a different point so an 8" LRS is more like a 7" standard (but don't quote me on that)
At around $60 shipped you can afford to roll the dice on one.
As long as you don't take the protective wrap off the shield you can exchange it for another size if you want (you pay shipping).
I will not buy anything other than LRS.
BTW- the shield on the Reckless Fairing mounts the same as a 2014 and up OEM shield.
