The Stock Fat BoB exhaust looks like it weighs a ton, how much weight is that 2B's setup saving?
The Comp S 2-1 Two Brothers made for Dyna's is very similar to this one and it only weighs 14 lbs...so let's assume this new one weighs about the same.
I know that stock swept up exhaust system on the Sportster XR1200 weighs about 40 lbs. Let's say this new Fat Bob's stock exhaust weighs 5 lbs less at 35 lbs. In that case it would be a 21 lb weight loss for the Fat Bob. That would make a big difference in the power-to-weight ratio.
Of course this is just speculation but I don't see the Fat Bobs stock exhaust weighing much less than the XR1200's (it might weigh more) so I think the 21 lb weight loss might be pretty accurate. But even if it's just a 10 lb loss, that's still good.

I have taken off the mufflers and have visually confirmed the cats are in the HEADER pipe of the 2018 Fat Bob. Just to add, the mufflers weigh a TON.
The mufflers themselves looks extremely restrictive as well.
I talked to a guy just before about cutting out and re-welding the pipe to remove the cat, but what do you guys typically do with the mufflers? hole saw?
On my '14 Road King, removed the Cat from the head pipe, left the cans stock and had a Power Commander ECU reflash, a little more sound and runs great.
Bike still looks completely stock and my neighbors don't hate me...........
My head pipe was cut, Cat removed, re welded and the original heat shields fit perfectly.
this is why you dont rush and order the first thing you see.... road rage 3 is here/coming... better than 2bros.
Not realy digging the sound of that pipe... might be the camera mic though. Would have loved to hear it idle. I'm going to keep waiting for more pipes to shake out.
Nice! But why is it better? I lack knowledge in this department. Looks almost the same and 2bro comes in black..
looks? been under a rock, huh?
http://www.bassanipipes.com/ the black ones and chrome ones will be along soon. no need to rush, within about 6 months the market will be swimming in all types of goods.

definitly not a neighbor-friendly pipe. sounds 10x better in person... harsh super smooth at speed too.
