Well now I wait. But, while I'm waiting for the Bassani exhaust to arrive, I removed all my hand controls and sent them out to get chrome plated. I decided to take the chrome even further and I think it will really enhance the chrome bars and I'm excited because it's been a long time since I've chromed my hand controls on a bike in a long time. AND THEN I DID THIS (I sure the hell did)...............
This Legion Blue and Vivid Black paint scheme really caught my attention after seeing it for the first time, saw it on a Limited. It got the ball rolling and, well, I couldn't contain myself, I put down a deposit on a anniversary Street Glide today and I'm excited to get my hands on it right around Thanksgiving.
I have a pretty good idea what I will be doing to it and have some time to put a plan together. Bad news is this bike will be replacing my '17 Road King Special. Since I picked up my new Fat Boy S, this writing was on the wall.
I did this today on the low and I needed to share with somebody, so I couldn't think of a better group of guys. Can't wait to take delivery..

Out with the old... in with the FREAKING AWESOME!!! Congrats man, that is one gorgeous ride. LOVE the paint! Enjoy!!! Can't wait to see what you have in store for this beauty. Cheers!
Holy cow. Congrats!! When will this thread be turned into a movie and who will play Putt? That's some dramatic developments for sure. Going to be a fun bike!
I will be trading in my Road King Special and here is why. My dealer is going to allow me to bring the new Street Glide home to do a complete parts swap. Everything chrome on this Street Glide will go onto my Road King Special and everything black from the Road King Special will now go onto the new Street Glide. I mean everything, as well as the Rinehart exhaust, PM Wheels and painted calipers. That should give you guys a pretty good idea what I'm thinking...
It all started with a phone call to my painter to see if he could color match my side covers. And in less then an hour my bike was complete torn apart again, and on it's way to the painter. I originally wanted a new red Fat Boy but was disappointed it only came in a two tone scheme. To me the Fat Boy has always looked better in a solid color. So I'm having my painter shoot it Candy Brandywine over a black/silver base with a simple pin stripe. It should be a pretty awesome color.
