I would wait unless they do that for free and make all the paperwork right. I went and looked at the white in person the day i bought mine. Cool color for sure. Cant you just order it so you get a set delivery date?
One advantage to the paint swap is to ensure everything is installed and torqued correctly. My 2016 Fatboy S arrived with a bolt missing holding the front fender to the fork.
It cut the heck out of the front tire and ruined the fender. The visible buildup is a combination of paint and tire shavings. Eventually got the fender and tire replaced by Harley (and they paid for my 1000mi service) but it was a bit of a pain to get it resolved. And what a safety issue! So it's not all bad to have a competent dealer go through the bike to this level of detail.
Where are they getting the tank and fenders?...seems strange...
Reread his first post. They have a 107 in the color he wants on the showroom floor. He wanted the 114 but they did not have one in the color he wanted. Swap tins. Problem solved except he ends having to pay for the labor. They arenât doing it for free.

Exactly. If they had both the white and tempest black in the 114 I'd probably have chosen white but I don't feel like I had to settle picking the tempest black, the color really pops in the sun. Besides, I've already got a white truck and the wife's car is white, time for a little change.

ahh..got it!!! 1K...ouch How much to have someone custom paint?...maybe an option..
It's nice and depending on the size of your wallet possibly worth it to have a color not everybody else has ($3k + install). I think if I was going to get a "custom" color and spend custom dollars I'd want a true 1-off that literally nobody else would have.
