Been wanting a fatboy for a while now, until last week when I found a deal I could not pass on. So now this makes a 3rd softail model I have owned in the past few years, after 08 Deluxe and 07 Heritage (which I still have and will be selling), I now own a 2010 FB.
Got it with 4500 miles. The bike was pretty much stock besides some chrome HD covers. I've already started customizing it with some V&H parts (shortshots, Duke VO2, and FP3), highway bars, side bag, mirrors, and some other parts.
Comparing the 3 softails I've had, I'd say heritage is definitely best for longer trips, thanks to the more comfortable seat and handlebars set up. Fatboy is the best looking IMO.
How do you like the solid wheels compared to the spokes? I always felt they made the bike feel a lot heavier turning.
Looks wise i love it. It definitely feels different when making turns, but i thought that was caused by the 200mm rear tire, didn't think about the solid wheel
